Gerald Ramsey

Gerald Ramsey, a seasoned theater professional and Buffalo native, boasts over 30 years of performance experience. He has been a dedicated member of the Ujima Theater Company since 1989, participating in more than 22 productions and currently serving on its Board of Directors. Ramsey's extensive local theater credits in Buffalo include THE WINTER'S TALE with Shakespeare in Delaware Park, where he played the role of Antigonus. A three-time nominee for the Buffalo Artie Award, he secured the win for Outstanding Actor in a Play for his portrayal of Papa Shakespeare in Ujima's THE AFRICAN COMPANY PRESENTS RICHARD III. Beyond the stage, his short film credits include the FBE production "Spare Change," in which he appeared as Lazarus. He also shares his talents as a singer with the Elim Christian Fellowship Church Praise Team. Offstage, Ramsey is a retiree of Fannie Mae (Federal National Mortgage Association) in Dallas, TX.
